It is Hot in Delhi!

We landed late last night and Rajesh picked us up at the airport.  We managed to sleep about 5 hours and then our day started.  We went for a walk to M Block market but we were too early for the Indians so we came back home and decided to have breakfast.  The boys made a killer omelet and toast and enough coffee to satisfy my needs!  We spent the bulk of day in bed resting and awoke hungry and ready to head out and about.  We went to M Block again and picked up some groceries, a kettle, a hair dryer (I need a diffuser for my curls) and of course some Kingfisher for Mark.  In traditional western fashion we ate Subway for dinner YUM!
The bulk of the evening was spent on the rooftop patio with coffee and beer.  The boys who work here have been taking very good care to make sure we are ok.
On the baby front...we landed to find an email saying we have a single nuchal cord loop - basically the cord is around the baby.  We have plans to meet up with Dr S tomorrow to discuss this and see what she thinks.   Hopefully this resolves itself, and if not, c-section it is!
Other than that we are trying to stay cool and calm!

  3. Thinking of you guys!!! While it was certainly hot, we were thankful that it was so unexpectedly dry. It only rained occasionally through the night. We are finally home and I am making a nice home cooked American meal- what we really missed most while in India. Can't wait for the next update!

  14. It's so exciting that you will be there for the birth! Know that prayers are being said for an "easy" and uncomplicated birth. So soon you'll be holding your child and all of this waiting will be a memory instead of a daily event! Amazing!

  15. Welcome guys :) Great to have you here!!! Orion had the cord around him as well, thus they had to do a c-section and everything turned out well in the end. Excited for you guys, wishing you the best.
