Blast outside Delhi High Court

A terrorist attack happened today outside the Delhi High Court.  Fortunately we are about 20 minutes away from the location where it happened, and we are ok.
Location C on the map is where we are staying
Location A is where the attacks happened
Location B is the Canadian High Commission
Yahoo India says 9 people were killed and 45 injured.  Horrible day here in Delhi for those involved.

  1. Oh Kerrie, my heart just stopped. I am so thankful that you are ok, and am praying for all of our "friends" in Delhi-- known and unknown. I am just so, so sad to read this...

  3. Stay indoors with your baby until you leave. India is not a safe country these days as we approach 9/11 anniversary. Good luck

  5. Such a sad day, with India, Delhi and amazing people who have helped make our dreams come true, it makes what would always be shocking and sad news feel 1000 time worse. Thinking of those who have suffered the worst!

  6. This is horrible. Please just stay close to home until you must go to pick up papers and then get on a plane and be gone. It saddens me because when I was there I took away such a feeling of love, peace and calm.

  7. This is shocking news. Been speaking to family who are OK but shocked to the core. It's really frightening because nowhere is really safe nowadays sadly. Take care and keep safe.

  9. I know you're being extra careful over there and have complete faith that you'll be safely home before too long! Keep your eyes open and try to stay up on what's happening around you with that attack. Best wishes!
